OPPA President announces new initiative: OPPA Member Forum Series
Inaugural Forum: Advocacy Bootcamp to be held virtually on Nov. 11, 7-8 p.m.
In her report to the OPPA Council during its meeting on October 9, 2024, OPPA President, Nita Bhatt, MD, announced that she plans to initiate an OPPA’s Member Forum Series. The Member Forum Series is dedicated to empowering OPPA individual members through dynamic educational and leadership opportunities.
This new series focuses on enhancing leadership skills, encouraging continuous learning, and fostering an inclusive culture where every voice is valued. Participants will have the chance to engage with thought leaders, share experiences, and gain insights that can be applied to both personal and professional development. Together, these initiatives support a vibrant psychiatric community committed to growth and excellence.
